EMUNI is looking for budding, confident and enthusiastic interns to join our dynamic team at EMUNI's seat in Portorož, Slovenia.
The candidates work over a three-month period in one or more areas of operation at EMUNI:
- Administrative support
- Education department
- Financial department
- Legal department
- International relations
- Public relations
- Information and Communication Technologies
- Events organisation
- Projects
Personal & skills:
- Great organisational skills;
- Self-motivated & hard-working;
- Accepting instructions and advice,
- Environmentally conscious;
- Ability to work individually & more importantly in a multi cultural team;
- IT skills essential (Word, Excel, Email etc.. )
All kinds of previous academic training is accepted: scientific, humanities, legal, international relations, law, medical, design, architecture, business administration, etc.
A full professional certificate will be issued at the end of the internship.
In return we can offer a chance to make a significant contribution to peace building and just in time higher intercultural educational work, to get experience of working in a multi-lingual international institution, and the supervision and support of our staff.
The internship is unpaid. However, EMUNI University recommends interns to use various forms of grants such as Erasmus Placement, internship programme. The EU citizens can apply for the Erasmus Placement grant, as for the non-EU citizens, EMUNI will/may cover food and lodging.
You would need to be based in Portorož, Slovenia for the duration of the placement and/or in a partner site of EMUNI.
Availability
3 month placements (minimum stay is of three months, maximum is that of nine months) - FIRST COHORT NOVEMBER 2011.
