Erasmus Mobility

International cooperation in the field of education is one of the main goals of EMUNI University. The University was awarded with the Erasmus Extended University Charter in 2009. With the aim to enhance the collaboration among partner institutions, contribute to the intercultural dialogue and stimulate mobility in a multicultural learning environment, EMUNI University  signs preliminary bilateral agreements, which are the basis for students, teacher and staff exchange as well as internship programme. Higher Education Institutions interested to cooperate in frame of Erasmus LLP Mobility are invited to send the bilateral agreement to research@emuni.si.


ERASMUS mobility is activity intended to foster and increase cooperation between higher education institutions in Europe. There are several types of mobility:

 

ERA Student Mobility for Studies:

Student mobility for studies, the centrepiece of the Erasmus programme, enables students at higher education institutions to spend an integrated period of study of between 3 months and 12 months in another participating country

 

ERA Student Mobility for Placements:

Student mobility for placements enables students at higher education institutions to spend a placement (traineeship/internship) period between 3 months and 12 months in an enterprise or organisation in another participating country

 

ERA Staff Mobility - Teaching Assignments by HEI Teaching Staff and by Invited Staff from Enterprises:

Teaching staff mobility enables staff to spend a teaching period between 1 day - or at least 5 teaching hours - and 6 weeks at a higher education institution in another participating country

 

ERA Staff Mobility - Training for HEI Staff at Enterprises and at HEI:

Staff mobility for training enables teaching and other staff of higher education institutions to spend a period of training between 5 working days and 6 weeks in an enterprise or organisation such as a higher education institution in another participating country

Call for Individual mobility under the Erasmus programme; Mobility for teaching assignments - STA

For co-financing of staff mobility with the purpose of Mobility for teaching assignments in the framework of Lifelong Learning Programme 2007-2013: Erasmus STA

 

Academic year 2011/2012

 

Application deadline: until places are filled/ sources are used

 

On the basis of the sources/ funds assigned by the European Commission EMUNI University was approved funds in the amount of 3,425.00 EUR by the Centre of the Republic of Slovenia for Mobility and European Educational and Training Programmes (CMEPIUS) for all mobility programmes of the EMUNI University, approved for three staff teaching mobility programmes and two staff training mobility programmes.

 

»Mobility for teaching assignments - STA« refers to the classical mobility fr teachers and researchers of the higher education institutions with the purpose of their fulfilling their teaching obligations on the host institutions in another country.

 

The participating countries are EU member states, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Turkey.

 

The maximum amount per mobility to be gained on the basis of this call is 500 EUR (or more, depending on the funds available and mobilities performed).

 

Duration

The staff mobility must last at least 5 pedagogical hours of teaching/lecturing and it has to last minimum 1 day and not more than 6 weeks.

 

Period

Eligible for the call are the mobilities implemented by no later than 30 September 2012. The Erasmus grant cannot be allocated retrospectively for activities which were already finished at the time of the

 

Minimum requirements of the programme:

  • The participants must be employees of EMUNI University (in the employment relationship pursuant to the Employment Relationship Act -permanent contract, full- or part-time) but cannot be in an employment relationship at another higher institution at the same time;
  • Mobility can be concluded only between the holders of the Erasmus University Charter and must be based on an inter institutional agreement (bilateral Erasmus agreement), while no such agreement needs to be signed with companies;
  • Maximum 80% of the costs can be covered from the Erasmus funding as this constitutes as co-financing;
  • The employee can take part in training at any university with which the Erasmus bilateral agreement has been signed and at any organization or company, apart from the following:
  • European institutions;
  • Organizations which are leading EU programmes and
  • Diplomatic missions of the country of origin of the participant.

A total amount of the co-financing for individual mobility cannot exceed the amount of costs, which the applicant requested in the Cost estimation and cannot exceed the 80% of eligible costs:

  • 80% of actual costs of transport to the host university
  • 80% of actual daily costs ( allowances, cost for the accommodation, security, local transport and other), however, only to the limit of the daily amount, given by the EC for each country of eligible mobility (available in the Guidelines and table,

Daily costs are calculated only for the days with the accommodation.

 

Application process:

All mobilities must be performed by 30. 9. 2012. The completed applications should be sent to research@emuni.si or EMUNI univerza, Sončna pot 20, 6320 Portorož by no later than 1.9.2012.

 

The application must include the following:

  • Filled in training programme TEACHING PROGRAMME (constituting as application for the call), approved by the faculty of origin and the host institution;
  • A form for a COST ESTIMATE (individually for transport costs and per diems together with overnight stays and data about the number of overnight stays) with exact amount, which will be financed from this source and which needs to be approved by the faculty of origin. When preparing the cost estimate of the mobility planned we specially emphasize that individual costs should be estimated as realistically as possible.

After the mobility is finished:

After the implemented mobility, every participant approved based on this call, has to submit additional documents:

  • Confirmation by the Hosting Institution
  • Final report (after the mobility has been finished)
  • Prove of travel details, copy of a travel order and a mission order according to the Slovenian legislation, with all the original bills included ( the originals have to stay at University minimum 5 years after the mobility).

CALL for Individual mobility under Erasmus programme: Staff Mobility- Staff Training- STT

 

For co-financing of staff mobility with the purpose of Mobility for teaching assignments in the framework of Lifelong Learning Programme 2007-2013: Erasmus STA

 

Academic year 2011/2012

 

Application deadline: until places are filled/ sources are used

"Staff Mobility - Staff Training - STT" refers to the mobility of teaching and other staff in higher education institutions and employees of companies with the purpose of their training. The purpose is to allow the beneficiaries to learn from the experiences and good practices of a partner institution and to improve the skills required for their current job. The main activity is a short stay in the partner institution that may include a short secondment period, job-shadowing scheme, study visit, etc.

 

The participating countries are EU member states, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Turkey.

 

The maximum amount per mobility to be gained on the basis of this call is 500 EUR (or more, depending on the funds available and mobilities performed).

 

Duration

The staff mobility must last at least five consecutive working days and no longer than six weeks. Exceptionally, the staff mobility can last less than five days. Special justification is needed for the cases of shorter mobility.

Minimum requirements of the programme:

  • The participants must be employees of EMUNI University (in the employment relationship pursuant to the Employment Relationship Act -permanent contract, full- or part-time) but cannot be in an employment relationship at another higher institution at the same time;
  • Mobility can be concluded only between the holders of the Erasmus University Charter and must be based on an inter institutional agreement (bilateral Erasmus agreement), while no such agreement needs to be signed with companies;
  • Maximum 80% of the costs can be covered from the Erasmus funding as this constitutes as co-financing;

When preparing the cost estimate of the mobility planned we specially emphasize that individual costs should be estimated as realistically as possible.

After the mobility is finished:

  • Confirmation by the Hosting Institution
  • Final report (after the mobility has been finished)
  • Prove of travel details.
