With the aim to enhace the cooperation between higher education institutions, contribute to the interculture dialogue, stimulate the mobility of professors and students and build a challenging and innovative teaching and learning environment, EMUNI University organises different study activities.
Study Programmes
Our objective is to create a network of specialised postgraduate study
programmes among Euro-Mediterranean universities. International
comparability will be ensured with respect to credits, courses, as well
as awarded scientific and professional titles. In terms of fields of
study, special attention will be given to topics related to the
Euro-Mediterranean region. Complete study programmes (or parts of them)
will be carried out at several universities, co-founders of the
Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI).

Professional School
Professional school is an opportunity for participants to study issues, relevant for the Euro-Mediterranean region, improve knowledge and obtain the official certificate with ECTS credits, gain international and intercultural experience, explore cultural and natural heritage of the region and make new friends.
In frame of Professional School 2010, Euro-Mediterranean Studies, Public Management and Sustainable Development in the Mediterranean and 3rd EMUNI Summer Semester will be organised.

Doctoral Research Seminars
For the purpose of development of joint degree doctoral study programmes special doctoral research seminars are being organised. Groups with a maximum of 10 doctoral students and up to 4 professors can thus explore a variety of research fields related to the Euro-Mediterranean area. During a two-week, intensive stay in Slovenia students have the opportunity to elaborate their doctoral theses and write research papers. In addition, they can develop an interdisciplinary approach in an intercultural environment.

Training Courses, Seminars
EMUNI offers professional support in the organisation of short seminars in Slovenia. Together with partner institutions, it also develops different training courses performed at EMUNI or partner universities.
