PROGRAMMES
As an international institution, EMUNI aims to promote and spread awareness of issues that are crucial and common not only for the Mediterranean countries but for the wider community as well. Therefore the EMUNI Foundation provides financial support to Universities for activities relevant to the whole Euro-Mediterranean area.
As an evident proof of the EMUNI Foundation efforts, the following study programmes were financed in the academic year 2008/2009:
International MBA in Management of Energy and Environment (International University of Rome, University of Malta),
Master's Course in European Mediterranean Cultures and Policies (International Telematic University, Italy),
Euro-Mediterranean Master in Culture and Tourism (University of Bari, Italy).
EMUNI Foundation also provided financial and organisational support to the EMUNI University by the implementation of its other activities and events, such as Summer Schools, Doctoral Seminars and the Student Conference Research Souk.
In the academic year 2009/2010 the Foundation will support the EMUNI University by the implementation of doctoral and master study programmes, development of its own study programmes and continue to support its activities, such as summer semester professional school and conferences.
Furthermore, in February 2010, the EMUNI Foundation launched two new series of events, EMUNI Talks and EMUNI Talks - the Ambassadors' Series.
With the series, the Foundation is striving to spread awareness of EMUNI and include the members of diplomacy, governmental and international organisations into our activities in greater extent.
The Ambassadors' Series was opened by a lecture of the French Ambassador to Slovenia, whereas EMUNI Talks will be opened with a lecture of Mr Amre Moussa, Secretary General of the League of Arab States and member of the Honorary Board of EMUNI Foundation.
