New Identity of Piran

In addition to being a historical and tourist city, Piran will also be characterized as a center of learning by becoming a home of the new Euro-Mediterranean University.  In line with this, one of this year's Golden Drum Poster Awards Competition is titled "New Identity of Piran". Center EMUNI and the international students of its first Summer School will also participate in the competition in order to express the support of this truly international event. Awards
The author of the best poster will receive 5.000 EUR from the Municipality of Piran, two full registrations for the Golden Drum Festival and accommodation for two people for five nights from the Piran Portorož Tourist Board. The authors of the second- and third-ranked posters will each receive two full registrations for the Golden Drum Festival and accommodation for two people for five nights from the Piran Portorož Tourist Board. All shortlisted posters will be exhibited in beautiful Tartini Square in Piran from October 5 to 11. Deadline for the Portorož Piran Poster Competition is 26 August 2008.

PDF with vectored text in CMYK: 232 mm x 342 mm + 5 mm around all sides, 300 dpi. The picture must be in portrait and not in landscape setting/format.

Pet tisoč evrov za novo identiteto Pirana

 

Občina Piran bo podelila nagrado pet tisoč evrov za najboljši plakat na temo Piran - mediteransko univerzitetno mesto. K tej čedni vsoti bo primaknil organizator festivala Zlati boben brezplačno kotizacijo za dve osebi za udeležbo na festivalu, pet nočitev za dve osebi pa podarja zmagovalcu še Turistično združenje Portorož. Avtorji drugo in tretje nagrajenega plakata bodo prejeli vsak brezplačno kotizacijo za festival in pet nočitev za dve osebi. Število plakatov ni omejeno, kotizacije za sodelovanje ni, 20 najboljših plakatov pa bodo organizatorji 15. Oglaševalskega festivala Zlati Boben, ki bo med 5. in 10. oktobrom, razstavili na Tartinijevem trgu.
Ker je postal Piran domačin nove Evro-sredozemske univerze, organizira Univerzitetni center za evro-sredozemske študije (EMUNI) v petek, 4. julija ob 14. uri delavnico z naslovom »Kako narediti dober poster in zmagati?« Mentorica delavnice bo arhitektka mag. Jeronima Kastelic, ki bo predstavila vse elemente in kriterije, potrebne za izdelavo dobrega posterja.


Na delavnici bodo sodelovali tudi študentje prve mednarodne evro-mediteranske poletne šole, udeležite pa se je lahko vsi, ki se želite potegovati za lepo nagrado. Za vse drugo bodo poskrbeli na sedežu Centra EMUNI v Portorožu (Sončna pot 20), kjer vas bodo v predavalnici v 4. nadstropju že čakale barvice, škarje, papir, lepilo in drugi pripomočki. Zadnji rok za oddajo plakata je 26. avgust.
