This volume discusses almost 600 original terms from 30 European countries, describing the different kinds of teachers who work at all levels of education.
In the first part, the terms in the language of origin are presented in alphabetical order, with an explanatory note indicating the main features of the training, recruitment, status, evaluation and promotion of teaching staff.
The second part contains summary tables by country of all terms arranged by educational level and kind of staff.
