Rules on cookies

The E-Communications Act (Official Gazette No. 109/2012), ZEKom-1, brought into law the rules about the use of cookies and similar technologies for storing information or accessing information stored on computers, tablets or mobile devices. With the help of cookies, the user’s device stores unique user data or settings that user has selected on a particular site.

The information and data we collect will be carefully protected and used exclusively for the purposes of providing online services, analysis of usage, advertising systems and functionality that would not be able to offer without cookies.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files that are transferred to the user's computer when they visit a website. Usually they are used to operate the essential elements of a website to improve the user experience.

Cookies are stored for one session or more. Upon each subsequent visit, it can retrieve information from an already stored cookie on a user's computer and identify it, but cookies do not contain personal information and do not give access to the computer.

Each user has complete control of cookies and can decide whether to allow the cookie to be stored on his device.

On the emuni.si webpage, we offer users the option of deciding whether or not to accept cookies. In doing so, we warn that their exclusion may lead to potential problems with the site, some of the functionality of the webpage may even be disabled.

Website Optimization - Google Analytics

Due to the constant optimization of our website, we use on the basis of Article 6 (1f) of the GDPR Google Analytics, the online analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Our legitimate interest arises from the presented purposes. In this respect, pseudonymous user profiles are formed, and cookies are used.

Setting cookies can prevent you from using the appropriate settings of your browser; however, we stress that in this case some functions of this site will not be fully accessible. In addition, you can prevent the registration of cookie-related information by referring to a site's visit (including your IP address) as well as the processing of such data by Google by downloading this browser add-on from the Chrome browser.

A reject cookie (Opt-out) is installed, which prevents the future capture of your information when visiting this site. Storage duration / criteria for determining the storage time:

After the IP address becomes anonymous, your “name” finding is no longer possible. Statistically processed data is deleted in Google Analytics after 26 months. There is no longer any connection to a person based on reports generated on Google Analytics.

How do we handle your personal information that you enter into forms on the website and apply for e-notifications?

We use data that you enter into forms on a website, exclusively for the preparation of survey results and the transmission of our newsletters. We carefully protect your information and do NOT pass it to third parties or use it for any other purpose.
